Brian N. Casey

Brian Casey’s practice includes representation of businesses, individuals, insurers and government officials in civil litigation in federal and state courts in the areas of professional liability, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, motor vehicle accident claims, civil rights, defamation, employment, construction law and design, commercial and UCC claims, lead paint and mold tort claims, and general personal injury, property damage, and fire loss.

Mr. Casey also practices in the appellate courts and has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Virginia, Court of Appeals of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

He has spoken at national and statewide legal education seminars and authored legal education publications on the topics of ethics, bad faith, insurance, and litigation practices. He has served as faculty member for the Virginia State Bar’s professionalism course, serves as a Commissioner in Chancery for the Circuit Court of the City of Norfolk, and is a past-president of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. He currently is a member of the Boyd-Graves Conference of the Virginia Bar Association.
